ORANGE COUNTY
FEDERATION OF SPORTSMEN, INC. This group represents almost all of the
outdoor clubs in Orange county. They sponsor trips to Albany to
meet with elected officials and meet with local officials.
Orange County Chapter of
SCOPE
A local chapter of SCOPE has been formed. They meet once a
month. They do not have a web page yet but Call

Frank Carbone Jr has been very active for many years and has
started a web site for articles that he has published in the Mid
Hudson and Wallkill Valley Times and for other information.

Bringing the sport of silhouette pistol back to
Monroe Chester Sportsmen Club. All matches are tentatively
scheduled for the third Saturday of each month. Open to all
no matter what skill level.
The ORANGE COUNTY PISTOL LEAGUE is a 22 Cal. indoor
pistol league shot in the fall and winter of each year at
Master Class in Monroe. Shooters of all skill levels

A Civil War era reenactment unit based in Orange
County, NY. The unit has about 50 members in uniform and
accurately represents a company at mid-war. Spouses and children
are welcomed in this family oriented group.
WTBQ has audio streaming so you can get the
radio station on the internet even if you can not get the signal
at 1110 on your AM dial. It is the only radio station in Orange
County that really supports the local community and lets all
points of view on and allows anyone to call in. Check the WTBQ
web site for a full lineup, they have many types of programs
that cover many topics at different times during the day. (I
call in all of these shows when I can.)

is the "The Sue & Sande Show " with Sande Foster and
Susan Tovey. Expect to hear a left leaning dialogue
and a lot of reasons why every thing is wrong,
Republicans are not to be trusted and we need
another investigation. And don't forget that you

Tuesday
is the Bossman's day with Jerry Boss who is always
"armed" with humor and straight talk. You never know
who or what the Bossman will be talking about.
What's going on in the dark halls of Goshen and who
is doing what to whom is his specialty.
Orange
County LegislatorJeff
Berkman, (D) 20th District, host a show
every Wednesday. In November 1997 Jeff was elected
to the Orange County Legislature to represent the
20th District (Middletown and Wallkill). The
district is comprised of all of the 2nd, 3rd and
part of the 1st ward of the City of Middletown, and
a portion of the 4th ward of the Town of Wallkill.
Thursday check out John Hicks, lawyer and past
Orange County Republican Party’s Chairman. He is
outspoken and does not always toe the Republican
party line.
On
Friday take a trip to the far, far left side with
Pat O'Dwyer, former Town Supervisor in Goshen and
past special assistant to Gov. Mario Cuomo for
Ethnic Affairs and Women's Issues. (Her phone number
is on Hillary's speed dial when it comes to Orange
County.)

WGNY ended the AM Talk format on 10/3/03. It will still have
several talk shows. Check their website to see what and
when. The only show left is on Sat. at 8 AM. Their website
is still being worked on.

ASSOCIATION This is the official representative for
all of the gun/hunting clubs in NYS. They lobby for the passage
of bills to support our rights, provide information to our
elected officials and keep us informed on what our
representatives are doing for us and against us. They
